Lou Kokkinakos on the mic at a Baltimore receptionLou Kokkinakos (DJ Lou Koko)
Lou's first work in music programming came as a freshman at Essex Community College, where he helped establish the school's radio station as music director. He financed a Corporate Communications degree from the University of Baltimore by working nights in the Baltimore club scene, then joined Rodento Management's national Kahunaville franchise as a DJ and was quickly promoted to Entertainment Director. He has held rooms at Bar Baltimore, Have a Nice Day Café, Hammerjacks, Aqua, Babalu, Iguana Cantina, and Bourbon Street, and was DJ, co-host, and music programmer for Mix 106.5 FM's dance program “In the Mix.” He has performed in clubs across the United States, Greece, the Bahamas, and Puerto Rico. At a wedding, Lou runs the mic, protects the timeline, and coordinates with every vendor.
